Alright, we are still recovering from the last SEX & GLUE MEGA RAVE but it's time to practice some new moves and get ready to start showing the kids what you got.

Our mates from HELL CITY GLAMOURS are about to pack their bags and head over to SXSW to get signed and make a million dollars but at the moment they are dirt poor scum bags in tattered jeans that wont even have enough money to eat when they get there (that is if they have enough money to get to Texas in the first place).

We decided we'd help them out by putting on one last show before they go so they at least have some of the folding stuff to bribe immigration with (have you seen Mo???). Also playing on the night are Sydney's new punk-rock sensations RUN! HIDE! and THE LIKS.

After 11.30 be prepared for all the typical SEX & GLUE debauchery that you've come to know and love (and LOVE). The party is on FRIDAY FEBRUARY 6th at OXFORD ARTS. Entry is only $10, and doors are at 8PM 9 (guestlist entry will be available after 11.30).

I don't know what was in the water on opening night but it seems that everyone had a pretty good time (refer to party pix for more details). Next week we'll be putting on our best shoes and doing it all over again.

Think: heaps of dj's playing all the punk/pop/indie songs you want to dance to, not afraid to cross genres on occasion and ready to stoke that dancefloor fire. Guest dj's pop down all the time to inject some new vibes into the night so be ready for anything. Literally anything.

Think: cheap drinks flowing from the start to the end, and spilled on anything from your shoes, to your top, to the dancefloor, to definitely not the DJ booth cause then we get MURDERED

the scare - tuesday january 20 - the supper club

UP TO OUR HIPS is very pleased to be working with our mates THE SCARE to put on a Big Day Out warm up show for them on Tuesday the 20th of January at The Supper Club. THE SCARE will be playing a bunch of songs off their new record and will be joined by PSYCHIC DATE and some DJ's dropping some mad hits. The songs we've heard so far are amazing and we are really excited about seeing them live.

The Supper Club is at 134 Oxford St, Darlinghurst. Doors at 8pm, entry only $10.
