SEVEN SEVEN SEVEN is new club by us UP TO OUR HIPSTERS (oh no, we didn't just say that) that is for for those who like to hang out and listen to some good music and get drunk and chill. It is a bit more laid back than our other efforts but we think you'll enjoy it. The music is a mix of rock and pop and jazz and punk and really anything from the 1950's up until the 80's or so, and then bits and pieces of other stuff we like.

It is down at Club 77 on William St, #77 William St actually.

THE RETREAT guys and girls will be heading down after to drop a little dj set so come down and say hello and take it easy. It is only $5 entry with your stamp from Spectrum, or $10 otherwise.

SEX AND GLUE is back in a massive way. Since it is every month we have a lot of time at the pub to plan ways to make it more ridiculous and more memorable each time it comes around so fingers crossed our grand plans dont blow up in our fucking faces.

One thing you can be sure of is $4 BEERS and $5 SPIRITS all night, dodgy DIY artwork, party-punk jams and lashings of cross-genre fun till way way late.

The party is at OXFORD ART FACTORY, SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13. DOORS 1130. ENTRY $10/5

the retreat live - thanks to moshcam

on august 17 the retreat played a show at the factory theatre in enmore with horsell common, the mission in motion and bleached academy. it was for an under 18's initiative called ACCESS ALL AGES.

basically we all had a great time and the dudes at moshcam filmed the show. we got the dvd back the other day and you can watch all the videos on moshcam.com if you search 'the retreat'. sorry for lack of direct link but it doesn't seem to want to work.
